SLJ DAY 3 Wk 3

Kia Ora,

 My name is Max,

I would love to live in a tiny house because you can move it around whenever you want and they are possible to move to wherever you want.

My sister wouldn't like to live in a tiny house, because there is not a lot of room to walk around and play games.

I think tiny houses are so awesome because I can have a sea view or a view of the bush and I could go around the country and see lots of different things but still be in the comfort of my own Tiny House.

Here is a photo of the tiny house that I would like to live in.

SLJ DAY 3

Kia Ora, my name is Max. I am going to talk about the problems that Rosa Parks faced.

Civil rights are basic rights that should be the same for every person. But when Rosa Parks sat on the bus that day they weren't the same, because black people were treated differently and didn't have the same rights as white people. One day she was on the bus and then she got arrested on the bus.

Imagine that you were allowed to change your name to anything that you wanted. On your blog, tell us what you would change your name to and why you would choose that name.

KIA ORA My name's Max and if I could change my name to Wolfgang Barrett Einstein it would make me be so happy and I would feel clever.

My first name, Wolfgang is a strong name, and was the name of a famous composer in the 18th century, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. He started to write songs when he was a child, and he became famous at a young age. Here is a link to the first famous song that he wrote when he was 5 years old- you will be amazed!

is a good goal kicker in the ALL BLACKS.  He was a key member of the 2015 Rugby World Cup winning team, and he was number 15 in the 2019  Rugby World Cup.

He won a Nobel Prize (an international award) in 1921 for his scientific discoveries, and he had crazy hair! Also, he was born in Germany, and my family have German ancestry. See this picture for his crazy hair:

Nuts: They do have healthy fats.

Dried Apricots: They have healthy things that are vitamins and minerals.

Dried beans: The dried beans are really good for you.

Dark chocolate are bad for you but it can save your life.

Canned meats and seafood and they can be good foods.

You should bring your fishing rod so you can go fishing and lots of water. Here is a useful site

Summer Learning Journey: Day 2: Giants Among Us

I have seen Tāne Mahuta before and with my family and my cousins. We saw heaps of hail and I thought it was snow. Me and Maggie and our cousins had a hot chocolate.

My class has learnt about Kauri die back and do you know that Kauri die back is a disease and it is spreading by humans not by pests, and we need to stay on the track not on the roots, and clean your shoes before you go into the forest?

I would like to see Tāne Mahuta again because he is the Lord of the Forest and I really want to see him one more time before he dies.
